This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing any course or product from CodeMasters Academy, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for all our courses. If you are not satisfied with your course purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
Eligibility for Refunds
Full Refund Eligibility (Within 30 Days)
You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- Your refund request is submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date;
- You have completed less than 30% of the course content;
- You provide a valid reason for your refund request (see below for acceptable reasons).
Partial Refund Eligibility (Within 30 Days)
You may be eligible for a partial refund if:
- Your refund request is submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date;
- You have completed between 30% and 50% of the course content;
- You provide a valid reason for your refund request.
Partial refunds are calculated based on the percentage of the course you have accessed and are at the discretion of CodeMasters Academy management.
No Refund Eligibility
You are not eligible for a refund if any of the following apply:
- Your refund request is submitted more than 30 days after the original purchase date;
- You have completed more than 50% of the course content;
- You have downloaded a substantial portion of the downloadable course materials;
- You have violated our Terms and Conditions;
- The course was purchased as part of a bundle, and you have completed a significant portion of any course in the bundle;
- The course was purchased with a promotional or discount code offering more than 50% off the original price;
- You have already received a refund for a previous course purchase from CodeMasters Academy within the last 6 months;
- You have been suspended from the platform due to violations of our community guidelines or Terms and Conditions.
Valid Reasons for Refund Requests
We consider the following to be valid reasons for requesting a refund:
- Course Content Mismatch: The course content significantly differs from the description provided on the sales page or course overview.
- Technical Issues: Persistent technical problems that prevent you from accessing or completing the course, which our support team has been unable to resolve.
- Instructional Quality: The teaching methodology or quality of instruction does not meet reasonable standards for professional online education.
- Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same course twice.
- Unauthorized Purchase: The purchase was made by someone using your account without your authorization.
The following reasons are generally not considered valid grounds for a refund:
- You no longer have time to complete the course
- You have changed your mind about learning the subject
- You find the course more difficult than expected
- You purchased the course by mistake (unless it's a duplicate purchase)
- You discovered a similar course at a lower price elsewhere
- You assumed the course included content that was not explicitly stated in the course description
Special Circumstances
Course Bundle Refunds
If you purchased a bundle of courses, refund eligibility will be evaluated based on your progress across all courses in the bundle. If you have completed more than 30% of any individual course in the bundle, you may only be eligible for a partial refund.
Course Updates and Modifications
Occasionally, we update our courses to keep content current. If a course undergoes significant changes that materially affect the course content (such as removing sections or changing the curriculum), you may be eligible for a refund even after the 30-day period has passed, provided you submit your request within 14 days of the course update.
Extended Refund Period for Extenuating Circumstances
We may consider extending the refund period beyond 30 days in cases of extenuating circumstances, such as serious illness, family emergency, or natural disaster that prevented you from using the course or requesting a timely refund. Such cases will be evaluated individually and may require documentation.

Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved, please note the following:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
- Once a refund is processed, you will lose access to the course(s).
- For credit card payments, refund processing times may vary depending on your credit card company's policies.
- For payments made through third-party payment processors (such as PayPal), refund policies and processing times of those platforms may apply.
Currency and Exchange Rates
All refunds will be issued in the original currency of purchase (Australian Dollars). If your payment was processed in a different currency, the refunded amount may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations. CodeMasters Academy is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or differences in the refunded amount due to exchange rate changes.
Promotional and Discounted Purchases
If you purchased a course using a promotional code, discount, or as part of a special offer:
- Refunds will be based on the amount you actually paid, not the original course price.
- Courses purchased with a discount greater than 50% of the original price may not be eligible for refunds.
- If a course was provided for free as part of a promotion, no refund will be available.
- If a free bonus course was included with your purchase, the value of the bonus course may be deducted from your refund amount if you choose to keep access to the bonus course.
Non-Refundable Items
The following purchases are generally non-refundable:
- Individual coaching or mentoring sessions that have already been conducted
- Digital materials or resources that can be downloaded and copied
- Subscription fees for periods of service already provided
- Fees for exams or certifications that have already been taken or issued
Australian Consumer Law
For Australian customers, this Refund Policy does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund for major failures and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

- Sharing course access with others and then requesting a refund
- Providing false information in refund requests
In cases of suspected abuse, we may:
- Deny current and future refund requests
- Suspend or terminate account access
- Take legal action where appropriate

Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes to this policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund request. If a more favorable refund policy is introduced after your purchase, you may request that the new policy be applied to your case, which will be considered at our discretion.
